Support the open knowledge movement by documenting Wikimedia technologies, and by helping technical contributors manage information.
- Write and organize technical documentation for Wikimedia open source software and infrastructure, covering topics like MediaWiki, Wikidata, data platforms, cloud services, and open data.
- Define and implement content strategy to support discovery and access to technical documentation across multiple repositories and publishing platforms.
- Work directly with engineering teams and technical subject matter experts to identify documentation needs, revise content, and improve metadata.
- Lead documentation projects from research to implementation, including user research, information architecture design, content creation and revision, copyediting, metadata management, and user testing.
- Facilitate content management and documentation improvements through collaboration with a diverse, global community of Wikimedia technical contributors.

- Created, maintained, and organized internal machine learning platform documentation used by 100+ Google engineering teams.
- As a solo tech writer, served as documentation lead for all the AdsML organization’s internal documentation, and coordinated cross-team documentation projects for 5+ ML engineering teams.

- In 2020, I raised $X,XXX in donations to support Women in Technology PGH (WIT PGH), and helped the group recruit tech professionals from local Google, Amazon, and Duolingo offices to serve as resume and portfolio reviewers for their first cohort of bootcamp graduates.
- From 2017-2018: I held a 20% role as site lead for google.org initiatives in the Pittsburgh office. As part of this role, I:
- Cultivated employee volunteerism and charitable giving aligned with google.org’s social impact pillars.
- Worked with cross-functional teams at Google and Goodwill of Southwestern PA to coordinate a day-long volunteer event for the Pittsburgh launch of Grow with Google.
- Recruited, managed, and coordinated 25+ Google volunteers to facilitate digital skills instruction and provide technology mentoring to Goodwill clients who were seeking jobs.
- Collaborated with logistics and PR teams to support high-profile visit of Google CEO Sundar Pichai to the volunteer event @ Goodwill in Pittsburgh (additional press).
- Recruited Google engineers to volunteer as instructors for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s “On-Ramp to Python” class. Since 2018, ~15 Googlers have volunteered as course facilitators, and over 150 students have completed the course.

- Planned and hosted a 2-day “unconference” focusing on alternative information resources, radical cataloging, and socially responsible, creative ways to share information in our communities.
- Collaborated with a group of six library students to create and launch the event, which included a film screening, zine fair, workshops, and lectures from Sanford Berman and Jenna Freedman.
- Designed the logo, marketing materials, and coordinated the publicity for the event.
